according to my opinion before 30 u should complete ur family.

I disagree. I think the right age to get pregnant is when you are emotionally, financially and mentally ready to be a parent. IMO it helps if you have a loving, committed relationship with a partner who is also ready to be a parent (or if you're single, that you have support from friends and family). For some this will happen before 30 - for others not! I was 30 when I got pregnant and before that time I didn't have all these things together. Really, it's about what's right for you.

I agree with Lanai- it should be whenever you are ready and you are in the right time and place in your life to give a baby a secure, loving and happy home.

u both r right nicola and lanai, i agree with u but as u know the chances of getting pregnant goes down when u cross 35.there is alot of complication after 35.thats why i said.any way it depends on ur situation too.

That is true- there are more risks associated with pregnancy as you get older. But there's 5 years between 30 and 35......................

Right time to get pregnant?? When you can care for the baby on your own financially (no government support needed) and when you are mature enough to take care of baby properly (no everynight late night bar crawls whilst your mum looks after baby.)

Just cause you can love a kid doesnt mean you can raise one and just cause you can go thru the motions of getting pregnant doesnt mean you are mature enough to care for one. No matter what your age if you cant do those 2 things then a baby needs to be put on hold. I know plenty of 30 year olds that cant do that and I know plenty of 20 year olds that are more than ready... age has nothing to do with it.

Im now nearly 21 and just found out i am pregnant after just moving to the other side of the world with my partner who i have been with since i was 15 n we have lived together for nearly 4 years now we are more than finacially stable have been for some years now so we no we are more than capable of providing without benifits and living off the tax payers money so i do agree age has nothing to do with it as long as you are in a stable relationship of more than a few years and can provide without having money off others and not expecting a party hard lifestyle after the baby comes age is just a number thats all

At 37 and after two misscaradges I try to ignore the risks to save my sanity, however I quit my physically demanding care job of ten years, due to lack of rest and twelve hour shifts. I wish I'd tried sooner in a way but, only because of health risks to baby, I'm glad I have done clubbing and festivals when I was young and am now a more well rounded individual for waiting.

age has nothing to do with it! it's as someone else has said, when you are emotionally and financially stable enough. you will never be able to 'afford' a baby (unless you are a millionaire of course) but you should be responsible enough to not have to reply on financial hand outs before starting a fmaily in my opinion.

now if you listen to my evil sister in law, she will tell you that you are over the hill at 30 and shouldn't even think about starting a family. I'm 31, married, pregnant with first ........she's 30 and single.......
