Calprofen I believe is a mixture of calpol and ibroprofen xxx
I cant see a difference in the leaflets for them on ingredients? Both say 2.5ml from 3 months to 12 months then vary slightly on how quickly you can up the dose to 5ml depending on their age. I expect it is just down to the testing that they have done and where they have found is a safe level to give. But if you want the exact info you might want to contact them direct for a full explanation.
