My daughter is only 7 weeks 4 days and I think she's teething and got a tooth coming through her gum already. Is this normal? I've researched teething and it says most babies don't get any teeth come through the gum till their 6 months.

If you read up about the lady who invented the gummee glove her baby teethed really early so it is possible, she took her little one to the dentist and they confirmed it. I’m sure I read the gum might grow back over it for it to re-emerge later on which is what happened to her. There was also a news article last year of a newborn born with a couple of teeth already. If you think she’s teething she probably is (mummy knows best) x

Has it already cut? My daughter had white spots on her gums at 8 weeks. Dr thought it was teething but they never cut. They came through at 6 months. The teeth can move up and down the gum so you might see then come and go. Anbesol is the best thing for them but at 7 weeks all teething stuff isn't recommended till after 6 months

I think it has already cut through her gum it's sharp to touch and is in a place where it was white and bumped before as if the tooth was moving up, okay thank you for the advice.
