I struggled to convince for a while due to having one ovary. Myself and my partner used Pregnacare for couples. I'm now 9 weeks + 1 day. Hope this helps.

Hi. We tried to conceive for 10 months before going to the GP. They did all the tests and we booked an appointment to see the fertility consultant. About that time we had almost given up on having our own baby. My partner is 44 and I'm 37 so we knew age wasn't on our side. A week before the consultation I felt abit off and secretly did a pregnancy test. To my amazement the test was positive, I told my partner and we then did another test, positive again. Now I am sat here writing this with my 5 week old baby son lay fast asleep in my arms.

I am sure it was because we had stopped worrying and hoping every month that af wouldn't arrive that we conceived when we did.

I'd suggest going to the GP and see what they say but I'd also try relaxing and making love for fun rather than because it's the right time of your cycle. We kicked back and just enjoyed sex and being together and it happened for us.
