5 Weeks no period after stopping the mini pill..

Hi there,

I'm 18 and have previously been on the combined pill which i had to stop because of high blood pressure. I then switched to the mini pill, Cerazette which i've been off now since 2nd August and still haven't had a period. I had slight spotting (Withdrawal bleed?) But nothing since. The pill didn't work with my body so i decided to not take it any more. Since then my boyfriend and i have been intimate but have used condoms each time and he has also pulled out...

I've felt bloated for the past few weeks, hoping to have my period. But no luck. Today my one of my nipples was itchy so i scratched it and gave it a little squeeze and a tiny about of clear/ white liquid came out....

I am completely freaked out. I've had no pregnancy symptoms and am pretty sure i can't be pregnant.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or knows anything about what might be going on....

Didn't you write a similar post yesterday or the day before already? I remember other members advising you that this is most likely because you stopped the pill, and not because of pregnancy.

I'd agree with them - your body needs time to go back to normal with so many hormonal changes. If you have had protected sex I'd be surprised if you were now pregnant. You'd also not have anything coming out of your nipples at this stage yet!

Go to your gp. If you have been safe with sex, then your breasts might have an infection if they are itchy and leaking.

Hi I've recently come off the same pill and it took 7 weeks for my period to return, but everybody is different.

I agree it will be your body going back to normal, and boobs don't leak at this stage they can be hurting, plus 'pulling out' doesn't mean your having safe sex the doctors told me that it's best to use a condom as there still a chance even pulled out... X
