I had suffered too so feel your pain! Mine got a little less excruciating every day. It took about 5 days to feel normal but mine reblocked initially. I'd use heat before feeding and massage and express afterwards if was short feed to prevent it blocking up again. Hope you feel better soon

I had this. To ease it I had to use a warm flannel just before the feed, and express after to completely empty myself.

Hi, I suffered a blocked duct on a number of occasions it was usually after I had used a breast pump and was same boob, same duct each time. I got experienced with watching out for it.

I used to get in a bath, lay boob down and massage down the duct towards the nipple with a flannel, the skin used to get a little pink from the pressure I would apply. I would follow this by ensuring my son was hungry and would feed on this same side and continue to massage down with a hot flannel and it sorted it. I think the duct can be inflamed for a few days so I would take paracetamol on the advise of my BF counsellor.

I hope it feels better soon x
