but I was weighed at hospital yesterday and I haven't put on any weight in the last 2 months and my bump doesn't seem to have grown....I thought this was the time when they really started putting on weight... I've got consultant in 2 weeks so I'll see what she thinks but I was shocked considering what ive been stuffing away recently!
Not that I'm complaining: but I was... - Pregnancy and Par...
Not that I'm complaining
I'm similar, I've gained about a stone throughout and now 35 weeks+3 but then I was about a stone overweight to start with so its all good really. And I've been eating like a horse, despite the heartburn! I think that as long as the fundus measurement is about right, baby is active with strong a heartbeat and your midwife doesn't have any concerns then its no bother and less to shift later. Far better than gaining 4 stone and being stuck with it!!
Haha,
Im not actually sure what my weight is / or how much Ive gained so far at 32wks, but I think Im simular to you where its mainly all "bump" really!!
Fingers crossed now I dont get a sort of massive growth spurt now in these last few weeks LOL!!
I'm looking at bump and trying to convince my self not shrunk at 38 wks!!! OH keeps saying not, and in fairness think just spread out a bit as baby no longer attempting to make my inny belly button into an outy and my waistline finally has disappeared. Everyone keeps commenting how small is but midwife keeps saying fine as did growth scan. She worries that is rest of me that looks as if lost weight even though the scales def say I've put it on, even if not much. Think our bodies just take what needs and gives to baby first, in which case given what I've been eating the last few weeks mine should be growing into a bruiser lol x
I don't think you should worry about what the scales say, I am 30+2 and have gained 8lbs to date over my entire pregnancy and my midwife just says the baby will get what it needs from you and that I shouldn't worry.
