I've always been fairly irregular, and have always had long and painful periods. I had an Implanon implant for 4.5 years and no bleeding while it was in at all, which was great at the time. Since I I had it removed in late April I've had menstrual cycles of 28, 27, 25 and now 23 days. Has anyone else experienced this?

TTC and cycles keep getting shorter?
Speak to ur doc u may not b ovulating ! I thought a shorter cycle would increase my chance each month but its worse than a long cycle as ur body doesn't have enough time to get ready properly 4 any potential pregnancy . I believe 21 days and under is bad but anything that's irregular is worth getting checked
I've been tracking ovlation and it seems to be happening about day 9-11, always 14 days from then to period, so maybe its just my body takign time to seetle afetr the implant was removed...
Yes
I experienced something very simular after removing my implanon implant last year. But i dont recall experiencing any pain afterwards
If you're finding the returning period painful its definetely best to get it seen to.
Just like yourself my periods also stopped (for the 3 yrs) i had the implant but after removal i also found that my body weight dropped slightly too, as far as im aware the "implanon implant" can release an certain hormone in your body which can decieve your mind into thinking you are pregnant.
Its probably just your hormones settling down back to normal, i think it took me about 3-4mths for my periods to settle down & im now 27wks pregnant.
xx
