recent diagnosis of MTD

Sorry to hear about your husband's ill health. With appropriate experienced care those with MDA5 seem to manage well long term; have a number with this antibody type in the larger facebook group I admin; the most risky period is before diagnosis, how soon the patient presents & if the condition is diagnosed in time. To me the Mycophenolate dose seems rather low, as max dose is 3000mg; in my opinion would need to be increased, so the pred could be reduced to at least 10mg (which is an amount specialists seem happy for patients to remain on long term).
Regards,
Jo
