Thanks Mary 😁 Not been my best year as I've had over 50 days of IV antibiotics this year 😟 Here's to a better 2017 🎉

I developed Pneumonia in May and the infection has reoccurred multable times despite my local Hospital and Kings College Hospital best efforts. I had managed to stay out of hospital since end of August when I came out of Kings, but have still needed combinations of antibiotics for ongoing infections. Sadly this time despite a combination of two antibiotics I continued to decline, so had to be re admitted just before Christmas. Oddly the previous 6 weeks before this infection was my best lung wise since this all started and we had almost thought we had cracked it 😕

Happy New Year to all. I also hope we can all regain some of what we have lost. With IBM and no treatment, I'm not hopeful. But hey, maybe this year that miracle will happen. Jo, sorry to hear you spent Xmas in hospital. I know how you feel. In 2012, I missed my daughter's wedding as I was in hospital with pneumonia. Everything was already planned and couldn't be changed. Hard to miss the big occasions. I still feel sad when I look at the pictures.

Hi Bon. You never know what may happen. I know lots of research is going on. Mary
