Here's to friends

Thank God for friends. At least twice now, Bruce & his wonderful grandma June have given me a beautiful place to live right on the river, and welcomed me into their family. When I've been at the lowest points of my life. When I had little but the clothes on my back. Few others would do that. I couldn't have made it through this flare without you.

This is the view I wake & go to sleep to. We have such nice mild summers here I'm able to sleep on a reclining sofa on the 'porch'

I've had to learn to walk again recently using those stairs. Unsteady as I am, I seldom venture to the lower dock.

It is for me during this flare up. But actually while here last Sept, while talking with my mom on the phone I slipped off the gangway into the water. It was only chest deep, but cold.
