my PCP took me off Celexa and put me on Budpar. I have rashes, fatigue, and nausea. Anyone else tried buspar?

I have not tried either of these meds at this point but I’m confident someone in the forum has experience with those meds

I took it when I was younger and I felt okay, but I tried the tiniest dose available during the pandemic, and it made me very sleepy. I have had bad side effects from many psychiatric meds except celexa, which I would like to go back on.

Has it been very long, to where it should have gotten better by now; like a month or more? If not, maybe you will get used to it? I feel for you; I'm living with basically untreated anxiety because I'm so sensitive to meds and I'm not enjoying it much. I hope it gets better, or you find something that works for you without the side effects!

I have never been on either of these. How long have you been on Budpar? You should let your dr know of the side effects you are experiencing. I know a lot of meds at first can cause tiredness or sleepyness. You may have an allergy to it if it makes you break out in rashes and nautious. Hope things get better. Keep us updated when you can.

are you using them for anxiety? Celexa is an antidepressant but can help with anxiety. Buspar is primarily for anxiety.

I was on Celexa for about 10 years. Started crying a lot for no reason. So doc took me off Celexa and put me on Buspar. Now I have bad of hives.
