Yes, many people in my support group have it. Mine is controlled by gabapentin. My friend has it so bad she had brain surgery. Recently she had an implant put into her brain at the Mayo clinic for pain. I first tried tegretol but had very bad side effects from it. Best to you.

after tegretol failed I had gamma knife surgery for tn 👍

So far SoI was first diagnosed TN 10 years ago, and got on Rx Neurontin it went away. Then it came bsack a year later but worse, then put on stronger med which didn't help. I finally got cyber knife surgery (intense beams of Radiation) TN went away, that was 9 years ago.
