ive started using life-wave patches. Has anyone heard of this?

Now I’m seeing ads for tao patches that are similar.

Taopatches are a wonderful example of something designed to separate people from bits of their bank balances - pseudo science (i.e. BS) of the first rate. Do some homework and you'll find that the so-called evidence claimed for them turns out to be written by people who don't exist.

painreliefpatchreviews.com/...

"Taopatch mixes current scientific research, scientific buzzwords, and complete fabrications, to present as a technology that seems ‘miraculous’ but yet almost plausibly believable."

I'd not heard of Lifewave patches, but having looked at their website I'm inclined to put them in the same pigeonhole as Taopatches - i.e. wait for some proper peer reviewed double blinded trials to produce some proper scientific evidence on them before you spend money on them.

I did spend only minimal $ on a small set of lw patches because a friend of mine helped me get some. Id put them in the same category as teo patches. But honestly i do feel a slight difference with their use. I’ve only tried for a short time. Will let you know.

Don't forget the placebo effect - it's extremely well documented that if someone thinks something will produce benefits they will perceive those benefit as having happened even if they are not measurable by any objective means. And it's even been found that people who know they are being given a placebo can still subjectively believe that it's doing good. The only way these things can be ascertained with some element of truth is in double blinded randomised trials where no one know who's been given the "real thing" and who hasn't, plus there being some sort of outcome which can be objectively measured.

Understandable. But maybe my subjective feeling that it’s doing something is enough to subjectively feel improvement somewhere. even if theres nothing objectively measurable. maybe my tacit knowledge will overcome the lame performance of the patches.

I wish. It wound be nice.

If you feel improvement objectively or subjectively, who needs to measure it? Not me! Unless I’m doing research of dome sort.
