Nonsensical letters

I have just received 2 letters which make no sense.

I had an appointment for a phone call with the MS nurse at 10:30 on 3rd Nov.

The 2 letters say:

a) my appointment on 3rd Nov had been cancelled and rescheduled for 10:30

on 3rd Nov. ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜•

b) my appointment on 3rd Nov had been cancelled and not yet rescheduled.

Both letters are dated 5th Sept, so I cannot tell which was sent first.

I have emailed asking for clarification. Do I have an appt on Nov 3rd or don't I?

I am taking bets - any offers?๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ง

Thatโ€™s a good one! Iโ€™d say donโ€™t hold your breath sitting by the phone on November 3rd!

I have an email saying I still have an appt, but anything could happen between now and 3rd Nov.

It is most likely something with their computer system as I had something similar with mychart last year. Email said I had an a new scheduled appointment, when I looked eveything was the same. Do you have mychart or an online system of some kind that you can log into and see? Hope you get answers soon. Keep us updated.

Are you able to call your MS nursing team for clarification?

I emailed - the reply was I still have the appointment. I guess someone accidentally deleted it, then reinstated it, and their system automatically generated 2 letters.

Their phone number always gives me a message saying no-one there, press * to leave a message. Then a message telling me to enter a box number. I don't know what to enter, Then I get to the hospital switchboard. They send me back to the first message. Except occasionally they mishear and put me through to Urology not neurology ... I hit my head against the wall and dig out the email address.

๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ that's effing annoying then ๐Ÿ˜’ so, I'd probably expect someone to ring you on the 3rd, and if not then kick up a fuss. Throw a huge tantrum, a bit like a Karen when they can't have things their own way when shopping ๐Ÿ™ƒ
