My sisters cat will sit on the back of the couch for hours watching the birds in the front yard she'll even fall asleep there.

Reeses has also started to sit on the back of the recliner in the living room to nap and watch out the window. Every once in awhile she will chatter at them though she hasn't done that in awhile. Can't believe she will be 2 this year.

I bet she would love to be out there catching those birds, what kind of cat is Reeses? 🐈

jimeka , Reeses is a 'Torty/Tortie' or Torteshell. The breed has mostly females, and males are rare (1 in 3,000 are male)! She has not been outside, except once where she slipt out the front door but we easily got her back in. We do have a few different cats that pass through the yard, but one comes to visit her at the back window. Let me see if I can find the picture I took the other day.

jimeka This is the kitty that will come to our back window and look in the house and get Reeses attention. Sometimes they will meow at each other. It is scared of people so if it sees you come close (even through the window, it takes off). I do see it at a neighbor's house across the street quite a bit so I think it may live there.

I should say, that she usually doesn't but sometimes she will.... she will also paw at the screen when she sees them. Sometimes she will run from one end of the house to the other when she sees the cat started walking away. Not sure if it's so she can see where the other cat is going or if she can try to 'catch it'. She is so strange sometimes.

My cats used to make that noise, good description of it! You must speak cat language 😅😂

I have had cats my entire life, all - nearly 64 years - of it. Most of the time we had multiples. I remember when I lived at home we had 9 indoor cats! Came across a t-shirt that said "every life should have 9 cats". Very accurate. I think "cat" is my first language with "English" as my 2nd!
