I challenge YOU
I can fill 14 of your list, this is fun, thank you 👍
Hi NanaCC I did your throw out list about 2 years ago my hubby & I went thru things & discarded 2 big boxes of things & it was about half his & half mine. Since then we check every few months to see what has accumulated.
Hi NanaCC! Love your list! I can check off most of it. As I get older, I find myself wanting to clean out more and more stuff. For the last couple of years, I make it my mission to go through all drawers, cabinets and closets twice a year and either toss things out or donate things I no longer wear or use. It's one of my favorite things to do! Thanks for sharing!
I can't play. My old underwear is in a plastic shoebox under the new underwear, each identified with labels. It's how I know when it's time to do laundry!
I did recently get rid of 3 massive containers of VHS tapes, some 10 years after our last player broke. 😆
Thanks for the inspiration, NanaCC! Unlike jimeka, I haven't gotten rid of 14 whole categories (!!!), but I've gotten rid of many items, including baggy old underwear. I've got to ditch my "antique" face masks, though. My skin became sensitive to them at least a year ago. The ancient makeup's got to be pitched, too... :::sigh!:::
Looks like 12 for me.😅
16 nk two bags of power cords 6 non stick pans way in the back. Keep the challenges coming. My husband is a hoarder I would throw everything out.
What a great idea! I have moved so much in the past few years that I’ve already pared my belongings down greatly. My divorce helped in that department too! Just divide the stuff, then start giving it away!
14 ..good list...
I've been trying to go through and donate what is still good and throw away what isn't. I was thinking the less crap I have the less my son has to deal with when I die. That day is hopefully still a long way off since I am only 54 but you never know and why not get a head start!I like to go through my pantry, fridge and spice cabinet once or twice a year to get rid of expired items. I did it about a month ago.
I have gotten rid of most of the items on this list when I moved 5 years ago. There are still things in boxes from the move. That tells me I don't really need them! Those are on my list to deal with this year 😊 now to get my husband to do the same 😁
54 your a baby! I broke my ankle last September just starting unassisted walking for a month. I had to get a wheelchair which saved me but made me realize with things out of reach and my husband “help” I need to do a deep dive. So many dishes pots pans and canned goods from Covid scare I won’t use. It’s spring at least it feels that way trying to be motivated.
Oh my! There are only 2 things on that list I don't have. 😯 And I thought I was doing really well decluttering.😄
I tried to find expiration dates on my spices and can't find any! Most everything else is already history. When we moved several years back we had 3 garage sales and anything left was donated!
great list. I did 10 of these, while preparing for hip replacement last year. House feels a lot better!
Great list NanaCC! Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it my husband beats me to throwing away most of the junk in the house. Sometimes it's good junk however that is needed. That's the downside. I do hang on to wire hangers because they are essential for certain craft projects andwhen you get locked out of cars to unlock the doors without doing major damage. Thanks For the list. It was a great clean out the junk drawer reminder and activity. Fancy59.
Moving is a great motivator for decluttering, NanaCC ! I filled three dumpsters and I haven’t missed a thing!
