Watch out for ice! Ouch 🤕

I slipped on the ice yesterday and really dinged up my body. My left elbow is chipped, my head hurts from hitting it on the ice, my right wrist is swollen and bruised, and my tailbone is bruised. I’m always so careful, but this happened in an instant. I must confess that I said some bad words when I was on the ground! The doctor wrapped my elbow and said it would take about 3-5 weeks to heal. It’s sprained. No obvious fracture, just the chip. But my whole body is very sore. So PLEASE be careful! Love to all, Kelly

It's been cold the last few days...the single digits, but have been lucky with no ice or snow. I do hope you'll feel better soon.

it sure happens fast to where we are not expecting it ...so sorry you are covered in sore spots ..take care and maybe the ice will be all gone by the time you are feeling better ...sorry ...we have lots of it ...i hate it ...especially where it melts and refreezes that is the bad spots ...be careful ...love and happiness with some good healing and the melting of all of the snow and ice,so we can walk on the rocks ,pavement or cement ..what ever and where ever we want to walk ...

So sorry you went down on the ice! I hope your recovery will be easy. Some of my worst falls have been on the ice. It helps to be able to SEE that ice but with MS sometimes your eyesight isn't working right--and so we have to extra-careful.

Yes, a very tiny chip was broken off. But there is nothing to be done about it. If it had been big, it would require surgery to remove it. Needless to say I am very happy to not have any surgery! How are you doing?

i'm hanging in there. i upped my coq10 so i take it everyday instead of every other day. unfortunately, i'm allergic to almost all food. i bought my chicken from the same store line, but got a different product. my body felt like it was on fire. my cats sniff my face when i''m ill and for the last 2 days, they've chased me to sniff my face.😸 i'll be back to my normal in 2 days.

the chipped elbow, my goodness. even bumping it hurts, so i can't imagine!
