I hope all of you are doing well! We finally have some cool weather here in Louisiana and I am loving it!! 😍 Miss you guys! 😘I am driving again after 5 years, thanks to the installation of hand devices. It feels so good to gain some of my independence back like driving myself to aquatic therapy, going to the nail shop and other places. My children said they are going to put a tracker on me bc I am always on the go.🤦🏾‍♀️ I am grateful for every blessing, big and small; the air we breathe, food we eat and the clothes on our back, for every little step we take rather with a cane, walker or the use of a wheelchair! We are still here! Happy blessed Thanksgiving!🥰🥰

Were the hand controls easy to get used to?

yes, they were. I had to have Driver’s aide for 6 hours with a teacher. It’s like getting your license for the 1st time. My MS physician had to also fill out paperwork with the DMV before I was approved for my license.

didn't know you had to go through all that but again it does make sense ...be safe and that is what all that is for ...love it ...take care and enjoy the wind in your face while driving were ever you are going ...not lots but it does make you know the freedom of your driving to the nail salon...that is so great ....love it ...

That’s wonderful I hope you continue to enjoy your driving and independence. I had hand controls but I had to give up as my right hand gave up then my daughter totalled my car so I didn’t bother getting a new one. Have a beautifully blessed thanksgiving 🤗
