sept 20 is the end of my 5th year treatment of Ocrevus, needing it bad ,has worn off.This week I had a bakers cyst drained from the back of my knee.i had never heard of it but i guess it is caused by injury ,of course,or artheritis.my knee and ankle were swelled, after draining it swelling is gone.i hear the cyst blocks the blood flow back to the heart,so lower body parts stay swollen,instantly back to normal, don't cha just love it when things are simple???

I'm not glad to hear you have a bakers cyst, but I am glad to hear someone else has a bakers cyst. 😬, What I mean is other than me, I hadnt heard of anyone else. Ive had one behind my knee for 2 years. Sometimes swells larger and more painful. The doc said cant remove it, too dangerous, too many nerves in that area that the cyst attaches around. Ive been too chicken to have it drained. Good for you! Brave woman! Mines not too big now.

good news!

How long before your last Ocrevus infusion wore off? I’m scheduled for my next one October 4th. My last one has been worn off for a couple of months! But i did have an MRI last week and there’s nothing new so that’s good. I asked my doctor what’s going on since my symptoms are getting worse but there’s no new lesions and she said smoldering MS which is changes happening deeper than what can be seen on a regular MRI

4 to 5 months/ my neurologist said I could have a blood test and see if it is still my symptoms if not the insurance will pay for a earlier one.i have not done that. also through ocrevus ,there is a 2hr infusion the iv drip drips 300 per minute instead of 30. gotta have a dr. ok it. i have done that for 5 times. love it.the word smoldering covers it

i hope it’s just the heat. I don’t mind the long infusion time because i sleep the whole time and they cover me and give me snacks

I hadn’t heard of a Baker’s cyst either until I ended up in the ER after the one behind my knee burst. Fun times!
