Recent studies show a growing number of Black Americans are being diagnosed with MS, many of whom are facing a much more aggressive form of the disease. MSAA invites you to sit on a discussion that will review findings on the latest MS updates, as well as the latest research
This digital educational program will be presented by neurologist Mitzi Joi Williams, MD. Dr. Williams has more than 15 years of experience in the field of MS and has worked to further research in underserved populations with MS, with a focus on the Black population. Through collaborations with national and international MS committees, she advocates for people living with MS to share in the decision-making process with their healthcare teams to combat this disease.
