My wife and I are in quarantine together for the next 10 days. So far she says she still loves me. OK,OK It's a solid likes me. I can't hardly breath and it feels like I've been in a bar brawl and not the fun kind either. Thanks for the prayers. we will get through this!

i live in trumpland (southern states) and my mum told me people give her dirty looks b/c she wears a mask. i hadn't been getting any of that, but hey, i'm obviously ill as i'm in my 30's and use a motorised chair. normally even the people in denial would move to the other side of the aisle if they weren't masked, but last week some unmasked woman sat down beside my chair while we waited in the pharmacy area.🤬

i moved away, but seriously!😡 just because we all want it to be over doesn't mean it is. *sigh

OMG! I hate people sometimes.. I had a guy from the property management office come to my door to do a "routine" inspection of my apartment. No mask.. when i told him to get a mask on or I would not allow him to come in he stood there and argued with me for 10 minutes about how he was fully vaccinated and should not have to be required to wear a mask.. I was like I don't care if you have been vaccinated against every disease known to mankind, if you want to come into MY home you will wear a mask. If you do not have one I have extras here you can have.. No extra charge..

i think a lot of it is fatigue. we don't have social status updates from the flu pandemic in the last century, but i bet at some point people were like, 'i'm done. no more flu. i never want to hear that word again!'🤪

but to me it's about respect. and you were sooooo right. your home, your rules. you were nicer than i would've been. i would've also handed them some gloves 😀.

i started to but if he had tried to touch anything in the house I would have been right there with hand sanitizer.. you can bet on that.. i have bottles everywhere! bathroom, kitchen, living room, work studio.. he would have gotten a dose of that immediately!!! LOL.. as it was he was grumbling the entire time he was here about having to wear the mask.. I wrote to the property management office after he left and told them if he ever knocks on my door again without a mask and then argues with me about why he should not be required to wear one in MY home I will call law enforcement and have him arrested. She was like isn't that over reacting? Um, no.. he would be considered assaulting me if he demanded entry without a mask on and me in my immuno-compromised state putting my LIFE in jeopardy so he could do a "routine" inspection.. That is too much.. let him come back without a mask.. LOL... BTW, this incident happened back in July.. in Florida when we were #2 in the entire WORLD for # of daily cases and deaths being reported only behind the UK on a 28 day rolling basis..

overreacting???🤬 nope, and she's obviously able bodied. have you ever said something like, 'able-bodied syndrome' around healthy people? they get super uncomfortable, don't know where to look🤣.

oh no, you're in florida!!! that whole place terrifies me, but you're not alone. i read an article about the whistle blower who told the truth about how many were actually contracting and dying from covid. she's running for office against desantis who seems bent on seeing just how many children he can kill.😱😱

even before all this, i was careful. there was this creepy man at the drive thru window who made a point of caressing my hand every time he gave me change. at first i'd try to outmaneuver him (i even gave him exact change, which he caught on to and caressed as he took the money), but that didn't work so i started letting him see me use sanitiser. then he started glaring at me and mumbling, 'sanitse your hands, sanitise your hands.' i complained to the manager and part of what made me angry was i felt i had to tell her about my immune system when he shouldn't have acted like that in the first place! she had me pull forward, came out and begged me to call corporate AND write them a letter so they could fire the guy. he wasn't just doing it to me.

he did get fired. i bet you're not the only one put off by the property manager.

no, i am not. This woman is a total biatch to everyone. My daughter and my grandson's mom both know her as well as several friends and they all have the same opinion of her. She is a narcissist of the highest order and thinks so highly of herself that she can do and say whatever she please pleases.. As far as DeathSantis is concerned.. I cannot wait until the election next year to cast my vote against him. He fired the head of the Dept of Health here in April of 2020 because she refused to change the numbers because he wanted to reopen the state early. He made this stupid speech about having a bridge a Brooklyn for sale because in June 2020 because everyone wrongly said that Florida was going to become the next epicenter after he reopened the state early. Well guess what happened a few weeks after that speech was made? Yeah, asshat had to eat crow on that one.. then it was the vaccine rollout that he refused to allow anyone under 65 to get until March of this year.. because he knew better than everyone else and us immuno-compromised pwMS and others like us didnt count. we could NOT get it at all unless we were 65.. people were being the vaccine even if they were from other countries as long as they were over 65.. it was totally ridiculous! My 34 year old daughter in VA got her vaccine before i got mine here in FL because she was eligible because she is a smoker.. go figure

wow, i knew some of the desantis stuff, but not allowing people under 65 to get the vaccine seems excessively loco, even for him.🤬

as far as the narcissist goes, i normally try to avoid them, though sometimes it just isn't possible (for me it's family). try and keep calm if you can.🤗
