That’s hilarious! I’m good! I’m trying to self rehab my legs and it’s going to be slooooow. I’m low on bone and muscle mass, so the bar for fitness is pretty low over here 🀣 I’ll see my regular neuro soon about restarting O, and then going on a vacation! I’m over the kids colds. There’s a little sick one next to me now 😞 Everyone had a great week at school this week though πŸŽ‰ How are you doing? You get the next med figured out?

Jesmcd2 profile image

Aww I'm sorry the lil bits have been sick!πŸ˜” I'm trying to motivate myself to do steps, all the hospital and being sick did a number on my thighs. So we can help each other out!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ The K not working for you? Had video appt yesterday with neuro, he wants me to have an MRI in Dec, before next O in Jan and take it from there. πŸ€—πŸ’•πŸŒ

Ty! Right? Happens fast! I hope you can recover them quickly. Yeah 🀣 my squat attempts are comical. Nah, I had side effects that got worse with each shot, so I’ve been off for K a few months now. I hope these kids germs are done before O. That’s good to have a plan! Maybe the next scans will be good πŸ™

They don't call um lil petre dishes for nothing you know!πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ πŸ’•πŸ’• So sorry about the side effects! That stinks πŸ˜” Squats? πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ Now that is funny!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ No! Just no! πŸ˜πŸ€—πŸ’•πŸŒ

The last time I ran out of spoons I fell and sprained ankle. 😱 I have finally learned to stop before completely running out of πŸ₯„πŸ₯„πŸ₯„

it's hard though. i think sometimes it feels so good to do anything, we just overdo it. also, it can be hard for me to tell what is the usual fatigue (especially when ataxia is acting up) and what is pushing myself too far. i always figure it out, but usually by then i'm ready for the knivesπŸ˜†πŸ˜œ.

Tis the key, figuring it out! I still don't!πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Oh, I ran out of spoons alright. Black and blue, both hips are so sore, nerve pressing on bladder. Just had a 2 hour round trip for a Covid test, that took 20 seconds, $100 later. Now in isolation until I have the op on Monday 13th. 2hour round trip again, 30minute procedure, unless they choose to sedate me, whoopee , as long as they get it all first time. Prayers appreciated please. πŸ™ πŸ¦‹

Get well soon and please! keep your spoons in line. I have trouble myself knowing when to say no more. But as we have learned the hard way, pushing through without spoons is dangerous and can be painful. Wishing you all the best. Speedy recovery.

Jesmcd2 Oh man! spoon mania!! i discovered that when i run out of spoons before i have finished whatever i'm doing i get really angry! happened just today. And yesterday. Maybe tomorrow? I have to work with the spoons that are allotted to me. Knives would be a bad idea when i'm in this state of mind.

Ever been stabbed with a fork? It hurts! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€—πŸ’•πŸŒ

There's 4 pointy ends on a fork and only one on a knife...does that mean the knife is safer??!

Love it!!!

Coming home from another camping weekend. We were near South Haven, Michigan. Loved the state park we stayed in and exploring the town. Should have taken more rests in the town. I kept lurching to the right trying to tip over. That one is new. Should have taken my cane, slowed down and taken more rests. Took our FAS son with us and he was really good (thank God). Need to be home to shower now. Feel icky but had a good time.
