Hi Smigs I'm so sorry that you're having so much trouble with the vaccine! I had the Pfizer vac. So I have no personal experience with it, but I'm sure many will speak up!😊Until then, this is what the FDA says about S/E fda.gov/emergency-preparedn....

AS ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DR IF AN EMERGENCY! 🤗💕🌠

I have been on Ocrevus since 2016. I got the J&J vaccine. My only side effect was fatigue. It was pretty bad starting about 6 hours after getting it. The next day I was still more fatigued than usual but not as bad as the day before. By 5 days out I was back to normal fatigue level. I know people not on Ocervus who have had this reaction. Hopefully it means your body was doing what it is supposed to do and have built up immunity.

Although I am NOT on Ocrevus (been self-injecting Avonex since September 1997), I had HORRIBLE side-effects from BOTH MODERNA vaccinations (in late March & late April). I'm actually waiting UNTIL THE 8TH MONTH MARK to get my THIRD MODERNA VACC.

Hang In There!!!

🙂🙏👍

I am on Copaxone and 1st injection of Moderna slight fatigue; 2nd injection I dragged around with 5 days of fatigue but had a reaction with hives on the arms 1 day after 2nd injection and reappeared 3 days; both episodes I took Benadryl and was fine. My son with asthma has Pfizer and no. Symptoms the first time but had worse hives than me (anaphylaxis) but had them 1 and 4th day after his 2nd vaccine. I waiting to 8th month. My husband had flu like symptoms both 1 and 2 injection. We all had the vaccine March-April. He is kidney transplant person. His 3rd vaccine was mild fatigue, nothing like the the first two injections. I am still leery due to hives. I. don’t want to have an anaphylaxis reaction with hives.

Hi, I have been on Ocrevus for two years and I've taken both shots of Moderna. So far, no side effects. Just a sore arm for a day.

The first vaccine was not bad. The second had given me symptoms that evening. I was down the next day. The day after that I made myself get up even though I did not feel great. Most of the day was challenging but I got through it. The day after I felt better.

Also, as I mentioned that I did have both vaccines for covid 19. I later had the flu and pneumonia shots. Similar experience as the covid vaccine 2nd shot. I was down for a day and a half. It worth taking. If I get sick I know I would feel a lot worse than feeling bad for 2 days. I say get the shots asap. But prepare ahead of time. Anything that must be done complete them before the vaccines shots. Keep in mind, many have very minimal symptoms. Just prepare just in case.
