I recently fell in my room. I'm healing slowly , but in a lot of pain.
Thank G-d No fractures, but severe bruises. I'm lucky I have a walker where I can still walk outside. No Eliptical Trainer.
The pain gets so bad in my legs I sadly start crying in the a.m and evenings
when lying in bed. It's so hard to lie down and be comfortable evern with the ibuprofen and tylenol. I have a n apppointment to see Kristen Babinski on Monday- an MS Specialist. Thank you for your support.

Leslie, I would like to say first, thankfully you only have bruises, severe bruises, but no Breaks. Secondly, get well, rest get better. Thirdly, please do not do it again, not real happy when a Sister hurts herself.
Most of all get better soon and take better care of yourself.
so sorry ...glad no broken bones...have you tried a heating pad that works for me ...have to be more careful...be sure to keep drinking fluids ...take care and be safe...
for a few years, i refused to take my tablets b/c i was afraid of side effects and becoming dependant on pain meds. i went to a pharmacy for the stabbing pain i get in an otherwise numb section of my thigh and the pharma told me no otc meds would address the pain. i'm not sure if you're using these just for the bruises or also for the leg pain. have you ever been examined and asked about nerve pain?
Ouch 😣 Leslie, I can feel your pain from here. Try doing mind games to take your mind off the pain. Let us know how you get on. Take it easy, hang on to your faith, praying that you heal quick and your pain goes away. Big hug and blessings Jimeka 🤗🤗🙏
Happy to hear you have no broken bones.. Hope and pray you feel better soon. Ice packs work wonders for me with bumps and bruises. Pain medication only seems to make me sleepy and does nothing for the pain.
i'm so sorry you fell. it's so scary. when i first started dealing with falls, it felt like the whole world stopped before slowly restarting as i fell, losing all control over my body.
i'm glad you don't have broken bones and that you have a walker. i'm even happier you're going to the doc soon. there is no reason for you to be in so much pain! even on bad days (most of mine occur in summertime. i hate the heat🥵), the pain meds at least need to take the edge off.
I am sorry you fell. I fell 2 weeks ago. And at 50 years old it hurts so much more. I understand how much you hurt. I have been in tears also. I did not break anything either. But i think breaking might be easier. I have been using a therma heat wrap for my back pain. It helps. I only take advil too. Good luck to your recovery 🙏
Hi Leslie, i trust you will get what you need from your doc and if you don't get it, don't leave without telling her what you are going through. Here for you.
My goodness, Leslie, please take care and I am sending you some gentle hugs! I hope that your appointment on Monday will be giving you suggestions on how to heal without any more discomfort. Please give us an update, after your appointment, if you can.
ben, I used to fall every time I got on my feet. Can't stay in bed or sitting all day/every day. My doc prescribed Orthodics to prevent foot drop. I originally thought that I NEVER wanted to wear leg braces. I was/am very glad that I got them because I can now walk without falling, most of the time. I have a cane but I only use it when I go out, not at home. I'm glad that you didn't break a bone. I used to have an M.S> friend who also had Osteoperosis. Sometimes a fall would smash her hip and have her in a wheelchair until it healed. I've never experienced pain with MS, except when dealing with Insurance companies, but that's totally unrelated. Your doc may be able to help with the pain. Good luck and GOD BLESS YOU!
I am so sorry you fell. Hoping and praying you feel better soon. Actually, prayers regularly for ALL of us around the globe with MS. Thankfully, you have an MS specialist in the area. (My closest one is a 3.5 hour drive).
