I have it, mild... Things do go flying from my hand, usually when I get tired, the worse it gets. My leg will spaz out whenever the blank it wants to!ππ€£π So I deal!
MSAA has a TON of great info on it! Read it! It's right here! ~~>mymsaa.org/ms-information/s... from medication to exercises to help!!!
Do you have spasticity? How do you deal with it? Inquiring minds want to know! π€π
The finger spasms are odd. I try to pull my fingers back into a normal position and it just doesn't happen. Grateful they don't hurt. My legs on the other hand...
I get the same thing! My thumbs also draw across my palm, straight not curled. Weird. Maybe MS is some kind of superpower? Just have to figure out the cool part.
I have it mostly in my legs and hands. At night my legs just jerk as something scared them. My hands involuntarily let go of things. It used to happen at any given time. Now since I started Ocrevus it only happens between months 5 & 6 before my infusions when the drug is wearing off.
I have spasticity, mostly in my left leg. I had a blood clot in that leg in 2007 and after that, the spasms started. At first not too bad, but they became painful after awhile. My neuro had prescribed baclofen for it. Over the years, meds have been adjusted (added, dropped) due to the level of pain from the spams.
i hear ya that is one of the bs with this thing living in us .it has a live of it's own but we just push back and do it anyway....yes sometimes have to really find something else and another way but i am going to win the fight ...hahahhhahahahhh..take care and great info...
Hi Jes! I've tried every medication out there for spasticity to no avail. Thru the MS rumor mill at the Ocrevus infusion center, a lady told me that her neuro had her on Magnesium for spasticity. Since then I have been taking 500 mg. It seems to be working better for me than any of the meds. Hope that you find something that works for you.
Ha, I'm reading this thinking I should look into taking magnesium again to see if it helps with the stiffness in my feet. Then you mention the spray oil - duh, I already have this in the cabinet, but quite forgot it was there! Maybe I should start by digging that out!π
Iβm going to comment again here, this seems to be a possible Kesimpta issue. Some had it before starting the drug and have increased issues now (baclofen not as effective) and others like me never had it before. And they say itβs the same as Ocrveus π€·ββοΈ Of course tons of others are just fine on it.
