You are confused. The vaccines for Covid-19 have no effect on MS. The point of the article is that an experimental vaccine which uses technology similar to that used in a Covid-19 vaccine has been effective against autoimmune encephalomyelitis, an animal equivalent for human MS, in mice.

Perhaps...since there may be some association between the Epstein Barr virus and MS, maybe a vaccine designed to prevent COVID19 would be helpful in active MS situation, but I doubt a vaccine could repair the damage already done to the nerves themselves.
