Good Conjunction day morning my beloved ms family ( that is YOU) in case (YOU) are new or wondered who I was talking about. Everybody is good? All set for the big event tonight. Early, after darkness in the western sky. I have my neighbours set, and as best I can I have asked them to turn off their decorative lights, and front house lights. Once in 800 years conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. I am not sure I will be here for the next one so I have to make the most of this one that I can. I wonder how many people do not realize that this is even happening?
It makes me feel my ms woes are small, no tiny and significant in the greater scheme of things. There is so much more. I can look at the western sky and see something tonight that few have ever seen. I know what I am looking at. It is beautiful, it is amazing. I am made of star stuff, and so are "YOU". Take a moment, realise your hurt, frustration and anger at your illness. This happens, I do not know why, but it has happened to "YOU" and me. Can we accept this and strive to make ourselves something better than the stardust that we long ago were? I like (YOU) are broken, we are sick. We will be until we pass, back to the dirt where we long ago came from. BUT WE have an opportunity "NOW" to be something more than we ever thought possible. More than "they" expect, more than we ever dreamed possible. Let yourself be open to the possibilities. Make them happen for yourself.
Look at the night sky. There is so much more. Look in your heart, "YOU" are so much more. Do (NOT) spend your life regretting that (YOU), are one of us, a Person with ms (PWms). Delight and revel in the fact that (YOU) can be open to so much more than (YOU) ever thought (YOU) could be. I am filled with hope and joy, to perhaps see one day what a great human being that (YOU) are. (YOU) do not have to write a 700+ page book as I have, (YOU) can merely light the room with your smile. The possibilities are endless, the choice is (YOURS). This is your ms. Your journey. I have many opinions, but (YOU) do it the way that suits (YOU)
