Rest In Peace David Lander “Squiggy”

I’m probably aging myself but I loved Laverne & Shirley growing up and Squiggy was my favorite character. There were several articles but this one spoke best about him, his ms, and family.

He really was a funny guy and the part of Squiggy he played it to a "T" from the article he was involved with getting MS out there thru his book and baseball work.

I often wonder if it’s illness from compromised immune systems due to MS meds

Thank you for this. I read some of it, but I contacted my doctor who says MS does not affect life expectancy if ithere ar no underlying conditions so I’m gonna just go with that :). I like the outcome of that scenario better

His book was one of the first autobiographies that I read that was written by someone with 'ms', Hidden May he rest in peace

I also loved Laverne and Shirley. I knew he had MS but had not seen where he had died! Wonderful actor!!

Thank you for posting that article. I used to watch Lavern and Shirely, and I knew Squiggy had MS and was an advocate. His early years with the diagnosis was very similar to mine--IV steroids, Beta Seron being all there was. Sad to hear of his passing.
