Just saved some dough

I made a discovery that will hopefully save me from having to pay for major home renovations for our bathroom. The bathroom doors in my house are too narrow for either my power or regular chair to fit through. As an example of how difficult this is, it takes a wheelchair at the door, a rollator inside the bathroom to transfer to, and a husband just to get me to the shower. And, there are two doorways to get me through! It’s an ordeal. Anyway, in researching narrower wheelchairs, I have discovered the grip bars on the wheels come off making my current wheelchair small enough to get through the door! Yay! Maybe I will splurge on a pediatric chair or something at some point but for now, this is a huge win!
