Just tell me to be quiet...

My normal is 2-3 hours then need a drink and potty. Couple more hours, drink and potty. Luckily I can go back to sleep, but it’s never a long lasting sleep 😴. This is my normal the last five years. No sleep aids help, so I have learned to deal with it. Have a wonderful weekend 👍🙏😉🤗 Ken 🐾 paw

Venting is different from whining. We understand.

Yep.. almost 1am and I’m up. First of my 3 times I usually wake up due to my bladder. I can’t even remember what it feels like sleeping through the night! Venting helps us all to not feel alone in our life with MS 😊

We're all in this boat together. Go ahead and whine, because if not here, where? If you keep it bottled up, that's not at all good for you.

Definitely don't bottle it up. This disease is very frustrating.🥰

Ah chick so annoying Hidden

Been there done that...

What worked for me was getting Desmopressin nasal spray from the doctors, having a big drink first thing; coupled with not drinking a single ounce of fluid for two hours before bed

(why do they not tell you this?!)

Good luck chick

Hugs

Have you talked to a urologist about bladdder Botox? Let me tell you, it’s a game changer!

in reply toNana5B

Just whole body numbness, not shure if that would help...

But thanks for the suggestion

I am so happy when I only have to get up twice at night. It's so weird because generally my walking is not bad but in the night I stagger and have to hang onto furniture (while I'm clenching). I don't understand why that started.

I do hip bridges for my bladder.

Started with 10 a day for a 2 sec count slowly increased the do 2 sets of 20 reps EVERY morning beforeI leave the bedroom starting each set with a 5 court hold then doing 19 more at a 2 count hold. Repeat. I have reduced my "piddle pads" (4 drip at night, 3 drip during the day) from a new one each night and a new one almost every day to a total of 4 week. Now I've been doing this for well ing 5 months, so it is not a quick fix but you CAN do it!

Sleep is 5 mg Zambian ½ hour before bed . I know its effect on me, tolerate it well, get up twice a night to pee (i'm a tummy sleeper) and get 8 hours. Hang in there, listen to your body. You can use this.
