I am using my electric wheelchair about one third of the day now. I currently drive a small SUV, and am considering purchasing a used wheelchair friendly (with lift, etc) to replace it. I received an inheritance from my late brother, thought it would be a lot, but that was not the case, but still a very nice windfall of unexpected funds. Any thoughts? Would you just hold off and see if you would continue to drive in the next two or three years? I CAN utilize a wheelchair accessible bus to take me to some stores on my very bad days. Any input welcome, trying to be very practical about this.
Thanks!

Prices of all used vehicles π are $3000 over high book right now. Shortage of new vehicles have made used vehicles high. As everyone returns to work and things get back to new normal I think springtime used car prices are going to come down and have better prices. Now if youβre buying new you can get top dollar on used trade in. I have two friends that manage dealerships and another that owns one and thatβs were my resources are from. Good luck hope this opinion helps πππ Ken πΎπΎπΊπΈ
If it gives you more independence, even for a few years, it sounds great. If you keep the vehicle in good shape, I'm thinking there will always be someone looking for something like that, so you could sell it without taking a big hit.
Let us know what you decide.
