For those of you that receive infusions do you isolate yourself for an amount of time afterwards to build your immune system back up? My old neurologist that started me on my infusions retired. I met with with my new Dr and she thought it might be good if I skipped my infusion during this COVID crisis. I told her that I will isolate myself for 30 days and she was ok with that.

During this COVID crisis, self isolating might not be a bad idea. When I have had my infusions, I do try to keep away from areas that might compromise my immune system, but that's what I have done. Until I am told otherwise, I think that I will be wearing a mask when I venture outside, and I will still Keep Smiling, 4myms
sounds like a sensible thing to do, just stopping or skipping is dumb
I just stay away from places where a lot of people are for the first week. I haven't really isolated. I take extra precautions making sure my hands are sanitized after going into the grocery store or shopping etc.
I'm on Ocrevus and according to blood work over the course of the 6 months my immune system never meets normal standards. What do you do?
I guess. I avoid people most of the time. I don’t worry about going for walks and a runner breathing on me or anything.
my infusion nurse told me"just treat it like flu season"that was before covid, don't know
Afterward I cover my mouth and stay home one day
