You can ask anyone here questions Hidden as you found out, many of us have learned from each other.

No one here is a Dr! Or can take the place of your neurologist and medical team!

But ask away, and we all can help in anyway we can!🤗💕🌠

My experience with MS specialists is that they know end stage and worst case scenarios very well, but outside those boxes, your care is only as good as their experience and interpretation of what you are telling them. I have known very few of those and I’m sure there are some out there who know this disease on a personal level and are exceptional resources. Most will have no idea how to tell you to live with your disease and/or the ever changing range of possible problems it brings. The diagnosis and medication is a very small part of what it means to have MS.

I hope you find what you need here!

i agree 100% we have to speak up and advocate for ourselves

And even when we advocate for ourselves, it can be difficult to find someone who listens.

You 're so so right but it's still so hard. We have the disease and we are treated like 2nd class. You always have to battle and it's not fair nor pleasant. they like compassion but then again they are doing/saving their job just like I did when I was working. You want to be respectful but then again u r always fighting them.

Absolutely right on. Knowing this disease from a clinician'sl perspective is very different from understanding it from a patient's.
