Hello, I was laid off and unable to get a job. I have been applying and interviewing. Because of my disability I am looking for an opportunity as perhaps a receptionist where I can sit and work since I have trouble physically getting around. I am a very hard worker, friendly and energetic. I just need someone who will give me a chance.

This may be something to check into. I wish you the best. Please let us know how you get along.
I just wanted to let you know that I am so blessed for you and the health unlocked family. I was just connected to the person who was able to set up an appointment to discuss the assistance I need. My appointment is for tomorrow. I also received encouragement from one of my friends here. Now I just will prepare for tomorrow and feel relieved that help is on the way.
That's great to hear leapsnbounds Goog luck tomorrow! Keep us updated!

That s wonderful! You’re obviously a go-getter!
Hello I am back home. I could not wait to let everyone know how well everything had gone today. Greaterexp you responded right away with great information. The next minute I began making calls. And that was only yesterday and my appointment was today. The lady who helped me also has MS. She was amazing. The services that are offered gives you hope and you know that you are not alone with your disability. I am so thankful to them and all of you. I'm so happy. I hope everyone has a great day. 🙂
Good luck! I'm sure someone will see how valuable you can be.
Have you tried Social Security’s “ticket to work?” They can help you find a job.
I'll be praying for you. Mary
My state has a department that helps people with disabilities get jobs. Look there.
I wish you were in our area, in PA the workforce initiated a program called: "PAable." This program is designed for anyone with a disability who wanted to enter (or re-enter) employment to have the opportunity to do so without their benefits being in jeopardy. There is a monthly maximum earning cap, but it is pretty generous. Contact your local Government and see if programs exist. The best to you and don't give up!
Blessings

Try contacting your local Vocational Rehab office. They help people with all kinds of disabilities get a job.
Thank you for your help. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive. Tuesday morning Greaterexp had given me the link and information to make the call. I called the next minute later. After a few calls, that morning they were able to set up an appointment to go in the following day. They said within 2 months or less I will be able to work again. There are a few steps they will need to make to help me. They are aiming for less than 2 months. I have been so happy ever since just to know help is on the way after my help yesterday morning. I am so grateful full everyone helping me so quickly. I cant wait to give everyone another update.
