Neurologist in Orlando area?

I am trying to find a good Neurologist in the Orlando, Florida area. I am actually shocked that I cannot find one that specializes in MS. I moved to Florida about 1&1/2 years ago and I have had to see any doctor that I can find(and the one I have is NOT good enough to trust my life to and his office “staff” is passive agressive/just plain horrible!). I live in Clermont, Fla and I am willing to travel within an hour from home. I feel like nobody takes MS serious here, because I cannot find an actual comprehensive center that serves the MS community. Whenever I think I have found someone or somewhere, I come to discover that they are permanently closed or it is just a pain clinic. Please please please- someone in my area HAS to know of a decent Neurologist who sees patients with Multiple Sclerosis regularly. Thank you so much, in advance!😊

Both NMSS (National MS Society) and MSAA (MS Association of America) can help locate MS specialists in your area. The most recent issue of the NMSS magazine (Momentum) has a web address for searching doctors: nationalMSsociety.org/FDR. I hope you find the right specialist and the right fit. It is so very difficult in many areas, including mine. (I have vowed to never again see the so-called specialist at the so-called MS center at the teaching hospital nearest to me.)

Thanks. Yes, It looks like I will have to travel a bit but, it would be well worth it to find the right neurologist. Do you happen to have any recommendation? Thank you, Denise

I live in Clermont also. I go to Dr. Robertson USF in Tampa. It's on the east side of Tampa so the drive is not bad. I like everyone over there. They are very easy to work with.
