Is it possible to have lesions on the thoracic and lumbar spine and brain but no lesions on the cervical spine?

I have a question about lesion locations
Yes.
Thanks. The nurse told me since my cervical spine was clear that my lower spine would be clear as well and they cancelled the MRI for my thoracic and lumbar spine. I am sure the new neuro will want to do a thoracic and lumbar MRI.
I see from another post you put up that your PCP has referred you to see a different neuro. From what you've written above about what the nurse told you I'd say that is a wise thing - it's BS to state that just because someone does't have cervical lesions they also won't have lesions elsewhere in their spine. MS can and does give you lesions wherever it b... well likes, and while some "patterns" and locations of lesions are more common than others the truth is that MS does not follow any rule book.
Yes, and some only have cord lesions or some have lots of cord lesions and few in the brain. I wish MS was predictable and kind enough to follow such rules.
I searched and found an article supporting the idea that those with multiple cspine lesions usually have thoracic lesions. No correlation to lumbar. No study saying the reverse is true, that have no cspine means the whole spine is clear.
Sorry, my phone never copies links.
Absolutely!! All my high tech MRI's show my active lesions are in the T2-5 area! I have 25+ white areas in my brain that have shown NO change in size or shape, Neuro doesn't believe they are part of MS.ππ¦
