Good luck with the MRI. Have a great Thanksgiving.
Hope it goes well. Donโt forget to smile ๐
LOL! I never have a hard time smiling. The problem I have is . . . Well, the nurses once said We'll all sing FOR you, if you'd like. But please! We're trying to scan your brain! KEEP YOUR HEAD STILL!" So the last time, I had to ask for classical music instead with th the idea I'd be less likely to bob my head and sing along except . . . They started playing Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Pie Jesu"! I couldn't believe they found a piece I actually knew most of the words to! Fortunately it was a very slow piece.
best to you,in the tube I take a valium have them stuff towels around my head because my hair makes my head slide so it keeps moving and a towels over my eyes in case I open them, then I am in my comfort zone and keep repeating a mantra
Letโs hope good results xxxxxx โค๏ธ
So happy for you! Relax and enjoy the holiday. I hope you will learn something helpful from it!

My neuro said something about the 3d MRI in one of his talks, I just can't remember what it was. I don't think he scheduled it this time for any particular reason other than it being the only one available right now. I was thinking I'd probably get pretty good results, until Monday. I got a headache--not like the "thunderclap" one that prompted my neurologist to schedule today's MRI. But it was a sharp pain over my right eye, that lasted a day and a half and no aspirin or ibuprophen eased it. No big deal, right? Except it wacked out my vision! I've never done illeagal drugs, but I imagine doing LSD had to be similar--distorted faces, and wild colors. And then I started seeing things off to my left that I KNEW just were NOT there! I'd experienced things like this last year when I was in the hospital with the brain bleeds! So when I got the call about the MRI appointment going through I was very thankful. Though I'm not sure if my neurologist is going to be happy with what he sees with the MRI. Fortunately the weird vision issues only lasted a couple of days. But while Thanksgiving we were dealing with the snowiest Thanksgiving on record and it was really dicey with me and my cane, the fall came yesterday when I did my workout in my dining room (which I had turned into a mini gym last year) A little dance move for my floor work, and I got to bite some carpeting. So much for trying to stand with my wieght on my left leg!Down I go . . .
Good luck, hope for good results. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! sending good thoughts for good results
Well, I went in last night for my MRI and my neurologist was'nt kidding about being P.O.'d that my cardiologist hadn't ordered an MRI. My neurologist also ordered an MRA! He wanted to see all the artaries and veins in my vbrain, too! So, I got to do both, last night. And knowing my neurologist. I'll get a call Saturday afternoon with an appology for taking so long to get back to my about my MRI and MRA. He doesn't have to appologize. The techs told me it would take a few days before my doctor got the scans.
What's an MRA? I've never herd about that one before.
