Going to be taking a break from cooking, going on a road trip from Chicagoland to Austin TX, where we will do an airbnb for a week, saved for, already paid for, so as to spend Thanksgiving with the kids. Break? Nah! Packing 3 large coolers and a couple smaller others, 4 file folder boxes full of dry goods and essential kitchen tools, (my knife, zester, lime/lemon squeeze juicer, veg cleaning brushes......), oh yeah, a crockpot and one XL stockpot. That's not including suitcases, gifts.....

We were going to fly, but I couldn't get a corporate jet big enough for all the stuff! Oh, and couldn't afford the jet fuel! LOL! Yeah, lots of sale shopping for food over the last how many weeks, because if it's not on sale, look for something else to make, and making and freezing, making and freezing...most of it's ready! A 100% vegetarian to do! 5 soups and how many veggie dishes... Have a VERY small list for local grown lettuces, OMG, where's my buy there post it??? OTG... Found it! Posting it on florescent green post-it right on my master cooking plan folder. AND on the driving & hotel papers.

Not hosting Thanksgiving, BUT, invited to my son's GF's home, oh God? Does that make it serious?... Anyway, for a crowd of 30+, making the riced mashed Yukon gold potatoes with sour cream and fresh chives, oh boy?, but have some really, really delicious sounding appetizers, mini brie bites, in puff pastry cups, with who berry cranberries, and fresh sprigs of rosemary. See, I have 2 mini muffin pans packed....Got To Cut The Rosemary Sprigs.....Or do I just bring one whole plant, in it's pot?....Yeah, that's excessive. Then I'd have to bring a pot of chives too.....!

Got to get busy. Hitting the road by 4AM?

When I 1st saw this I was like what the hay. I dislike text code I never have a clue of what it's saying and have to turn to the internet. When I have to that I just delete the text and tell the person I will not read anything I have to look up because it's WW2 code and I'm not trained to be a code breaker
