We don't get the extremes here like I always had in Illinois, but my kids and grandkids sent me pictures of all the snow they've been getting. People in the valley here lose their minds if we get 2 inches of snow on the valley floor. However, we could travel less than an hour in about any direction and get all the snow we could want, as measured in feet.
Where is this valley?
Southern Oregon. We do get high temps in the summer, but, as always, it's not the heat; it's the humidity!
Ya humidity is killer. I live in the armpit of hell. Aka east texas. Which is y i am surprised it went from 70 to 20 so fast! And its gonna rain. π«
My yard is covered with snow!
hmm today was high 80F maybe low 90F, just saying
55 degrees in Meridian Idaho , 29 low. Itβs warmed back up again π€·πΌββοΈπ Ken πΎπΎπ
This morning in the Charleston South Carolina area started at about 68 degrees and has dropped ever since. Right now it's about 44 and expected to get as low as 27-28. They just said on local news that the record low for this time of year is 29 and that was set in 1944 for this time of year! So much for global warming!ππ€£ππ€£ I'm originally from Michigan, I know what cold is...though people from Canada and Alaska might disagree.
At the moment, here in the U.K. itβs 37*f, cold and wet, wet, wet. People are being evacuated out of their homes, due to flooding. The world has gone crazy π
LOL! Jes, love the .jpg...hehe, here it's been sunny but a cold wind...we got a dusting of snow Monday, but it quickly got sunny!πππ well, oops, I think I'm fired too... Don't when our cold is comin to Colorady...perdy soon, I agree Jemika, Many Prayers for ya!πππ LπVE YA!

We are 19 this morning!for the deep south ,oh no!I am sitting on electric blanket, with thermal underclothes on and a layer on top of that, and 100% wool socks.at least with the cold, you can take layers off, in the summer, you can't take your skin off!
This morning here in MI, it 14 degrees, feels like 4!! We might get a little bit of snow this afternnon though it looks like maybe flurries if anything. The high for today is 22.
I am in Atlanta, Georgia and the weather has been cold to us. Last night, the high was 25 and for this week in the 20s and 30s at night and during day. I am ready for HOT-ATL to come back. βπ
It was 7 degrees, wind chill zero yesterday here in Missouri! Last year when I moved here, it was 63 almost everyday in December! Who knows? Where we are moving in Kansas it is already an icebox. Lovely. Bundle up everyone. Love, Kelly
In Celsius or Fahrenheit? Never mind, cold is cold! Today, in the Northeast, it's is balmy 24 F, but it feels like 11 F (so they say) Sunny also. Brrrrr
21 here. And my idiot fiancΓ© got up in the middle of the night and TURNED THE HEAT OFF! For reals! π₯Άπ₯Άπ₯Ά
Everyone come over for some hot chocolate!
38 degrees here in Deep South Texas. Itβs amusing to watch the natives bundled up like its -38.
We are at 23 but it feels like 14. This is nuts.
Aaah yes, woke up this morning to 20 degree temps, inbox and vmail were filled with "what do I do if the water in my radiator froze?" What do I do with a leaking pipe that froze in the wall, my puppy just went to take a whiz on the fire hydrant and he is now frozen to it.
All of them got one answer: Read how to survive in the North. The secondaries were:Buy a new car, call a plumber after shutting off the water, and finally, you puppy will come home in the spring.
They were so busy I didn't hear back from them! It's an NC Southern thing.
We started out at 19F & got all the way up to 35F! Im in Mena, Arkansas. It's supposed to warm up to 52F today. Maybe Fall will peek it's head back in for awhile.
Not bad at the moment, 45-ish, but got down to -1(F) last Monday.
