Any advice please, please

Not sure where to start. End of December last year presented to a&e with pins and needles in right arm together with abdominal pain. Everything ok but given blood pressure tablets. Admitted to hospital February with suspected kidney stones. I mentioned pins and needles in right arm but was ignored. Day after went to a&e with severe headache and blood pressure of 210. Medication increased. April started having stabbing pains on right side of head which affected my forehead and temples. Got worse so went to drs. Blood pressure through roof but doc said nothing was jumping out at him. He ordered bloods. Less than two weeks later went to a&e, high blood pressure and head pain. Ct scan indicated I'd had a Tia. Discharged next day. Week later same thing, spent 3 days in assessment ward, saw about 5 different doctors some saying it wasn't Tia. Anyway eventually had test for temporal arteritis which proved negative. Still had stiffness, pins and needles and heavy neck. Got discharged after 6 days told to have MRI on neck. We went privately the results showed arthritis plus muscles in neck were too close together causing a narrowing in neck leading to my stiffness. We then saw a lovely neurologist who recommended doubling up on anxiety tablets, for six weeks at end of which I should get relief from head pain, reduction in neck pain and no more stiffness or heaviness in arm. Arm is so heavy at mo the only relief I get is when lying down. I am so worried I cant enjoy life, its seems as if I'm just existing. Will I ever get better. I don't mind pain just want to function as I used to.

Have you been dx with ms? Sounds like you need to see a good ms neurologist so they can possibly rule it out, then go from there. Let us know how you get on, Blessings Jimeka 🦋

I am sorry you are going through this. I wish I had some answers for you.

before MS i was diagnosed with a rare form of RA. i was diagnosed with the adult form of JRA called Stills Disease because I was an adult when I was diagnosed. I spent 14 days in the hospital . b4 I ended in the hospital I was unable to bend or move my arm, I wasn't able to lay down to sleep because I couldn't breath found out I had fluid around my heart.

It took several years before I could function and have relief as they tried to control what was going on.

I hope for you they find out what's going on.

have you tried to see a pain dr?
