A friend of ours Mom who was 89 thought that Alexa would be good company. She would argue with Alexa &vtell her she didn't know what she was talking about. Alexa would apologize to her.

One night I was laying awake in the bed 🛌 and Alexa said something from the living room! No one else was in the house except my husband and I and he was beside me! We hadn’t said anything. My husband turned towards me and asked what she/it said, it had woken him up. I told him that I didn’t know and didn’t care because that was just creepy! 🤭😬We keep it unplugged most of the time now because my husband got it just to play music for him so he plugs it back up when he feels like listening.

I don't trust any of those gadgets and don't own any. They are always listening. Google employees have even admitted to listening in on private conversations without the knowledge or consent of the people talking. They claim they're just testing the system. I call BS.

I was sure you were just around the corner! You must have mentioned this, but I am a rather recent addition. How is Australia for MS? What DMT are you on?

Are you in/near a city or in the country? I used to travel a lot, but Australia has always been too far, and now with MS it's formidable. I used to be on Tecfidera for 4 years, now Ocrevus.

lucky girl

I have several echo/Alexa devices in my house. Mostly in order to reach my son who is usually in his room upstairs, it keeps me from having to wear myself out when I need something or I've "fallen and can't get up". Now I play Question of the Day, chat with her. Try to convince her that she pronounces my name wrong. I fight with her sometimes but she remains calm with me. One day a week Amazon sends an e-mail with new things to try with your echo. She will play games with you, like 20 questions, music trivia. You can even ask her for something to do. I also use her for music. I didn't realize how much I would be using them!
