Hi Blue2703 Welcome to the community! Trying to pinpoint MS symptoms can be really difficult. Have you seen a neurologist yet?

This is a list. BUT! EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT!!!

So please just because you have a symptom, doesn't mean you have MS.

But feel free to ask anything!

Unexplained weakness in knees and ankles leading to off balance lurches; weaknesses in wrists when using a casting rod for long periods of time. No pain, just a joint that would fail to work momentarily. This was followed decades later by optic neuritis, foot drop and a range of other symptoms, none of them lasting long enough to get accurately diagnosed...until my 70th year when I finally again had a classic exacerbation long lasting enough to be concerning.

I would drop things that I thought I had a grip on. Objects I was holding would just fall out of my hands.

Then the Lhermitte's Sign started and that is what motivated me to get answers.

CIS over 20 years ago. Intermittent leg aching and mild muscle spasms of legs throughout the years. Relapse began with pain in hip and LS back requiring use of a cane, then tingling left arm. It progressed pretty quickly into a full blown relapse taking away the use of my legs for a couple of days and other symptoms.

Are you asking because you think you may have MS? Be sure to get to a neurologist very soon to find out what's going on.

Hi greaterexp, well I started getting this cold wet sensation inside my left inner thigh three days ago, and now aches (feeling weak not pain) in my whole leg. Yesterday at work I found it a bit hard to focus on the board (primary school teacher), not that I was seeing double vision but more of a strain. After work, I went home with a headache and had a lie down.

Were your symptoms on going or were they on and off?

Early on, before the relapse, symptoms came and went. I did see a doctor a few times for the aching in my legs, but the doctor or NP always said they couldn’t find any reason for it.

Your symptoms definitely warrant a trip to your primary provider and/or neurologist.
