Not sure if everyone knew about this clinic or not, more we can learn about MS and the studies, I feel it helps. Going to be 97 here in Texas today heat index of 110, going to stay inside today. Not sure why I am up at 4 AM though.
I know why you're up at 4 a.m. ! It's because you have MS. Some of us MS folks, example: me, have very disturbed sleep especially in the summertime. I live in central Virginia where the heat is amplified by the humidity, so when the temperature is in the 90s, the heat index is in the 100s. Doing anything outside is like trying to walk through oatmeal...and at night, temperatures don't drop by much. We had rain again yesterday, so it's muggy inside and out. Even the air seems thick to breathe. At night, I'm exhausted but sometimes, despite AC and a ceiling fan, I don't fall asleep right away, and then when I do those pesky nerves that didn't want to work all day wake up and begin to race up and down my legs. I am soooooo looking forward to late September and October when I can work outside again, breathe easily, and sleep well. [And if you look at when folks post or are on line, you will see that many MSers are awake when they, like thee and me, would probably rather not be!]
