It’s been s while since I’ve been on here. Thought it was time to update. I passed my paralegal class which I was worried all thought it that I wouldn’t. Went on vacation to Vegas to see Aerosmith it was great. The dry heat was very manageable had a lot of fun.

I also had a small flare up in April’s with pins and needles going down my left side and my spine but they went away after a few days. I emailed my neuro we decided to bump up when my mri was from November to May. The results were not what we wanted to see. My cervical mri was the same no new lesions. My head mri on the other hand had 5 new active lesions. Discussed any new symptoms with my neuro which there a few just small ones like my memory isn’t had sharp but it’s still good. I sway more when standing. We talked about new treatments we decide after all my research that ocrevus was what I wanted to do. Now I wait for my insurance to approve and the month it takes to be of the tecfidera.

I’m just taking this all one day at a time.

Thanks for the update! I'm sorry about the new lesions, but we have read about so much good being done with Ocrevus. It really seems to prevent new lesions very well. Let us know how you're doing on the Ocrevus.

Smartcloud1981 Happy to hear from you in this forum but not about your new lesions. I too, was on Tecfidera prior to going on Ocrevus and I too, had to get off of Tecfidera one month before starting Ocrevus. I do see improvements since being on Ocrevus with my mental clarity, balance, and gait. I hope that you do as well after switching. Please keep us informed and in the meantime,

Keep Smiling,

Carole :-D

I’ve heard good things about ocrevus. My boss has someone in her family who is on it. Says it’s working. My brothers friend just finished his Second 1/2 dose says he feeling like it’s working. His only issue was side effects that he got. Flu like symptoms.

I’ve gone lots of research which amazes my doctor I think. Ocrevus was my next choice after tecfidera.

Sorry to hear about the new lesions Smartcloud1981 Good luck with the Ocrevus, please keep us updated. Have heard good things about it here on the group. If Tecfidera stops working for me, I may switch to that. Though more research on my part is needed first.

I did lots of research before I started any medication. I did more after the tecfidera stopped working. I believe ocrevus will be the best now. I’ve heard good things.

Good luck. I hope you have better results with the tecfidera

Congratulations on passing your Paralegal...big accomplishment, kudos! However, sorry to read of your recent MRI. Hang in there...you just may feel better too on the Ocrevus, like others here...including me...like you said wisely..”taking it one day at a time”...many blessings your way! 🦋🌺

Thank you. I’m hoping to get the first 1/2 dose next month but I guess it’s all up to my insurance company

Hey smartcloud1981, thnks for upd8!👍 Kudos on gettin ur paralegal!💐 But While ur waiting for insurance for 'O'💉, I want to tell you about something that will reverse, not just slow progression, & /or waiting 2 more yrs. For any slight change! I have 2 books to very highly recommend to ya, I & many 1,000's of people have done what is in these books & have reversed M.S. & the 80 other plethora of Auto-Immune diseases out there, they are by Ann Boroch, "Healing Multiple Sclerosis", & "The Candida Cure", I have myself been on this candida cleanse & leaky-gut healing now for 7 months now & I have to say I feel absolutley great, no more pains, much more stable, over all just really better,

W/ Natural Grow Hemp w/peppermint & Grape seed oil.😃👍

I think I can now say, "I used to have M.S." 👍💪👍💐😃 I will get an M.R.I. next month & I just know she'll see & say "No More Lesions!😃😘👍💪👍

I just have to always recommend those books to one & All! EVERY1! Blessings💐

Jazzy🌹💜

I just sent my neuro a note about needing to get another MRI soon. Does your neurologist ever call and ask how you are doing? Mine never has. My PCP has when it seemed the occasion warranted it. I almost felt cuddled!!

The process of dealing with MS and with RA, psoriatic RA, etc. seems pretty much the same across the board with all of us. I wonder if we all have similar problems with T regs, etc. but it manifests in areas where we have had trauma of one kind or another, kind of like developing increasing chances dementia post two or more traumatic brain injuries. Over the last several days, a number of people have told me some 80 autoimmune diseases have been identified. My goodness, that's almost like mist in the clouds dropping rain drops and our drops happen to have names like IBD, RA, MS, Sjogren's, etc.

What do you think?
