Photobiomodulation

I wondered if anyone else had considered or heard about Photobiomodulation?

‘Photobiomodulation (PBM) describes the use of red or near-infrared light to stimulate, heal, regenerate, and protect tissue that has either been injured, is degenerating, or else is at risk of dying. One of the organ systems of the human body that is most necessary to life, and whose optimum functioning is most worried about by humankind in general, is the brain’

I’ve been doing my research and found this, and lots of other information about it

Hi Mermaidia11 we were talking about about the light therapy for wnter depression. And I have seen commercials for using laser light for treating depression. But I don't know more than that. Sry.🤗💕

As I understand it, this is entirely different - near infrared light stimulation?

I am also interested in this; my acupuncturist uses the Joove and wants me to try it. It’s a bit pricy and seems complicated. I’m also confused on what part of my body to use it on. My symptoms are on my right side from hip to toe, have lesions on brain & spine.??

I'd be waiting until there is conclusive evidence of efficacy. I notice that in the database of "3,000 scientific studies" linked to the Energy Blueprint website virtually all of the studies have been in vitro or with mice, rates, rabbits, and bovine tissue. And if your researches turn up any clinical trials calling for participants and charging a fee to be involved - just remember that genuine clinical trials do not charge participants to take part in them). I'd guess that anything realistic, practical and provable in MS is probably light years away (pun intended....... :) )
