Hi.... my name is Steve. I was MS diagnosed in the early 1990s and probably have had it since the late 1970s. Having problems keeping up with all of the house work (indoor and out)... much harder than just a few years ago.

Hi 2Kiggy how are you today? Completely understand about the work! It is harder! And then again I just don't want to do it! 😀 And then my neuro told me I was getting old.😒 That didn't go over well for him🤣

I break it up, it might take longer, but it gets done. Eventually 🙃

Welcome to the family!🤗💕

A big welcome to you! My neurologist told me I should not blame everything on MS - I was also getting older! It's really the pits to be old AND have MS. My Sister likes to remind me what the alternative is!

Welcome to our crazy 😜 group of MSers👍. Great place to vent and find out lots of information about MS from people who care about each other 🙏. I was diagnosed twenty three years ago and been on seven different DMT’s thru the years as they quit working and new ones came out. Currently on Aubagio and doing well😊. The last two MRI’s were stable and no new lesions 👍. Feel free to jump in anytime 👍🙏🐾🇺🇸. Ken

Welcome to the family! This is a great place to talk to people that understand what u r going thru.

I figure the dirt is gonna be there tomorrow if i dont clean it today. I do bare minimum so i dont over do it. Which is so not easy.

Hope to hear more from u soon. 💜

2Kiggy Housework?? Let me share one of my observations: housework is the hamster wheel of life. No sooner does everything get done, than the rounds start all over again. I finally figured out that there is never, ever a time when all the laundry is done, or all the surfaces dusted, or all the dog hair vacuumed, etc. etc. etc.

Welcome to our group. Know how you feel. Accept all the help offered to you, took me a long time to do that as I always thought of myself as the “super mom” also working full time as a nurse. Once I let that illusion go I did much better. My philosophy is now, if the health department wouldn’t shut you down and the firemen could make their way in and your kids had a pathway out in case of a fire your house is good enough. As far as the outside, if a nice yard gives you pleasure and peace spend some of your energy there

DisneyQueen I like your philosophy That is pretty much ours, path ways to get around the house keep the kitchen clean enough to work in & the bathroom clean enough to use when needed.

Steve,

Welcome to our family. You are not alone. A lot of people with MS can't so what they used to do.

Be proud of what you can do and say to yourself I'm lucky I can do that. There are so many people who can't.
