I play a lot of computer games, mostly Match 3 and coloring ones. There is something gratifying about sitting down with my IPad when I am fatigued and playing for a few minutes. But, they are so addictive! How do you feel about computer games?
I have always played games (or read books)and been “addicted” to them. It started with The Solitaire card game with real cards before computer games were around. My Dad taught me. We each had a little book where we kept track of our scores.

I play BubbleWitch3 that is the only game I play right now In the past I would play computer games that require a lot of analytical thinking because you’re trying to out think the computer and the computer is trying to figure out what you’re going to do.
I have a difficult time sitting at the computer and get dizzy fairly easy when I'm in front of the screen and moving objects so I don't do computer games. HOWEVER, back in 2009 when I was first diagnosed, I had late teen and early adult children. I used to feel sadness and anxiety anticipating that I may not be able to play with or be safe holding grandchildren when that time came. Well, all 4 children are married and I now have 7 grandsons!! (Age 4 mos-7yrs) Yeah that's right...no girls. They are fun and tiring BUT I have discovered LEGOS. 5 of the 7 love them and just give the youngest two a couple years and they will be LEGO happy too. It's my thing I do with them. They associate me with LEGO building. (Not the grandpa, the grandma ;))
When I visit the ones who are out of town we first go buy a new set and we spend time on and off during my visit building LEGOS. The ones close by get them at special times and we just spend time creating when we are together. I pull them out when I am too tired to be really active with them. I THOUGHT this was for THEM, but I have, in the process, discovered that it helps my cognition, dexterity and mental health. Biggest challenge is spending hours only to watch them play a short time then destroy it. But, hey, lots to build with and put the imagination to work.
The grandsons also like video games but I can't play long before I feel motion sickness. It's okay...they are good with LEGO time with me
