I have always donated my thick hair. I wear hair ties for thick hair. Now, it’s falling out in chunks. I’ve never had such thin hair.
I don't take that med but some1 on another site was having an issue like you with the same med. She stated she started using a shampoo and conditioner she got from walmart called renpure original biotin & collagen the shampoo comes in 32oz and the conditioner comes in 16 &32 oz
Is it falling out or breaking off? If it is breaking off then there are shampoos that can help with that.
I was on the clinical trial for that back in 2009. Thinned my hair out big time.
I too am on Ocrevus only the first dbl dose and I have noticed that my hair has thinned, but I have such thick hair, I am not worried - yet. But I wasnt experiencING "chunks" coming out. I actually mentioned this too the Gentech advisor I was assigned for Ocrevus and they told me that had not heard of any problems with this due to Ocrevus. I did not believe him as I've heard from a number of individuals here as to just this. Will I stop Ocrevus - NO. It has been to wonderful, for me, and I have incredibly thick hair.
I'm sorry to hear you are having that issue since starting Ocrevus. I was considering switching to Ocrevus but that gives me pause. I have such terribly thin hair as it is. My hair started to get even thinner, probably due to menopause and genetics. My stylist cautioned me about some products out there. She suggested that I try Surface Awaken Therapeutic Shampoo and Conditioner. I was very skeptical but kept at it. I've been using it for about six months and I can see two inches of new growth and I can't see my scalp through my hair as easily. Just thought I'd offer up the information. And I don't have any motive to push the product, just wanted to share that it works for me :).
I am on Ocrevus, and I lose hair by the handful daily.
Oh my are you getting thin or getting bald?
