Hello all my favorite peeps!!! I have been giving 3 options for drugs. The first one is Ocrevus, I forgot the other 2. Anyway, I can't find any objective information web sites. They are all the site for the manufacturer sites. They all paint a rosy picture of their own drugs. o if you guys could help, I would be incredibly grateful!

I have done 2 1/2 doses and 2 full doses m next one in December. I didn’t have any infusion reactions, feel great. No new lesions on 1 year MRI. If you are on FB there is a group. Ocrevus for MS. A lot of people’s experience both positive and negative.

Hey you know I'm your favorite!!!! rlh1974 πŸ˜€ Well of course the sites are gonna Jack up there own drugs.πŸ˜’πŸ€£

Allot of people here have switched to ocrevus. Just not me. So they can help you.

Copy from MSAA mymsaa.org/ms-information/t...

In March 2017, Ocrevusβ„’ (ocrelizumab) became the 15th FDA-approved treatment, notably for two types of MS: relapsing forms of MS (RMS) and primary-progressive MS (PPMS). This is the first time that a medication for MS has been approved for two types of the disease, and the first time that any medication has been approved to treat PPMS. Ocrevus is given via intravenous (IV) infusion every six months.

Ocrevus is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to selectively target CD20-positive B cells. These are a specific type of immune cell that is an important contributor to the MS-disease process. The fact that Ocrevus targets B cells differentiates it from most of the previously approved disease-modifying therapies for MS, which target a different type of immune cell called β€œT cells.” Side effects can include infusion reactions and an increase in infections. Other rare adverse events, including cancer and PML (described earlier with Tysabri), could potentially occur, but these risks are still being investigated.

Hope it helps.πŸ€—πŸ’•

All, my issue is. In all this time. My lesions are not growing ever since I was diagnosed. However, my level of disability has increased so that they don’t match. My Dr. has given 3 choices and I need to decide. Ovrevus, tecfidera, and limtrada. (I am sorry for the bad spelling!!! Anyway, I have heard good things about all. However not from a research point of few. Only from you guys. Not that I don’t trust all of you. But I want to the clinical stuff. Make any sense?

And yes Jes, you are my fave, just like everyone else! lol!!!!

I love you all!

HI THERE FRIEND!!

I posted about making drug choices a while back, and I will try to tag you in the chart that I love which really made my decision seem like a no brainer.

You forgot the other two πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Should you remember, MSAA has SEARCH where you can get matched up with your ideal drug. Kinda like a dating website but less depressing 😁

I think the info you're looking for does not exist yet, at least for Ocrevus since it is so new on the market. surveys and such are in the process of being created. You might like to search for studies of Rituxan since Ocrevus is primarily Rituxan "new and improved". you will just have to make a choice based on your intuition. I wish you the best in you decision process. Be good to U ~terry

Dr Aaron Boster has YouTube videos on Ocrevus that are helpful as does another doc that kdali and Iona60 posted that I’ve forgotten.
